Our History
Harbor Health’s history spans six decades. When Drs. Jack Geiger and Count Gibson founded Columbia Point Health Center, now Harbor Health’s Geiger Gibson Community Health Center in 1965, they launched a national movement to ensure everyone has access to healthcare. And we have continuously responded to urgent and emerging community health needs.
Our Focus
Harbor Health provides care to more than 30,000 patients at our community health centers and Program of All-Inclusive Care for the Elderly. We have received quality awards from the Health Resources and Services Administration and special recognition as an Age-Friendly Health System — Committed to Care Excellence from the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
